ABOUT THIS ROLE

Wawona Frozen Foods is seeking a Data Analyst to join the Business Intelligence (BI) team. The ideal candidate will have experience as a Business or Data Analyst, preferably in a manufacturing environment, and will be primarily responsible for the end-to-end development of the BI reporting architecture. The Data Analyst will work with the Senior Business Analyst and internal customers to provide tools that generate actionable insights and drive organizational decision making.

DUTIES INCLUDE

• Active participation in Wawona Frozen Foods' Safety program to maintain a healthy and injury-free environment.
• Participate in training and company meetings to facilitate individual and company growth.
• Compliance with all GMP, HAACP, Food Safety, Food Defense, and SQF policies and procedures.
• Empowered to notify and/or act in response to any issues or concerns within the scope of work.
• End to end development of Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Evaluate and transition legacy reporting artifacts to utilize modern tools including Azure Databricks, ADLS Gen 2 storage, Azure Data Factory, and Power BI.
• Creation and orchestration of Extract, Load, and Transform (ELT) processes.
• Management of our Data Lakehouse and curated data.
• Partner with internal customers to analyze business issues and develop appropriate resolutions.
• Assist with building business models, forecasts, and deep diving past performance.
• Assist with user training and introduction of new reporting tools.
• Assist business users with leveraging analytical solutions.
• Ability to perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related STEM field.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong SQL skills required. Experience with DAX, Python, or R preferred.
• Familiarity with core accounting and cost accounting principles.
• Ability to analyze financial, operational, and sales data.
