Porter/Janitorial Supervisor - Hours Varies

Pay Rate - $17 an hour

BASIC FUNCTION

We are looking to hire a Porter/Janitorial Supervisor. The primary responsibility is to ensure that all daily and periodic requirements are completed to the highest standards and according to schedule. Additionally, this position will also ensure that customer requests are promptly addressed in order to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction and in accordance with the required standards.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES AND OBJECTIVES

• Coordinate and monitor work assignments and schedules of team employees.
• Assist in the hiring, onboarding, and training of new/replacement employees.
• Review and Submit Timesheets for the locations.
• Maintain detailed records and compile written reports as scheduled and/or needed.
• Perform quality, service, and safety inspections; monitor employees for proper use of personal protective equipment, supplies, and equipment.
• Act as the conduit of information between management and front-line staff.
• Track equipment and supply inventory.
• Submit employee personnel and customer requests or issues to the Area Manager,
• Provide corrective action recommendations on areas that need improvement.
• Daily inspection of routine work and perform building inspections.
• Report any building deficiencies to Area Manager.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Moving heavy furniture as needed.
• Responsible for performing vacuuming, mopping, sweeping floors, trash removal rest room and break room cleaning and other miscellaneous duties to ensure that building and facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe and sanitary manner.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be able to follow instructions from supervisor and complete all tasks effectively.

• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.

• Must be able to carry, push and/or pull, stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl.

• Must be able to climb up and down a ladder.

• Ability to work in hot, cold, and/or damp environments.

• Reliable Transportation.

PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS

• Janitor/Cleaning experience is a plus.

• Supervising experience is a plus.

• Bilingual (Spanish/English)
