General Accounting Clerk

Our company has an outstanding opportunity for a detail oriented Accounting Clerk. This individual will work directly with the Office Manager and other office personnel to ensure the accounting office runs smoothly and efficiently.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Journal entries, account reconciliations and month-end close reporting
• Recordkeeping
• Invoice processing
• Data entry
• Post car deals and Dealer Trades
• Assist with processing 3^rd party warranty remits and cancellations
• Process daily bank deposits and credit card batch
• Conduct regular audits of schedules
• Assists the accounting department with administrative tasks
• Will work directly with the Office Manager with a goal of professional and personal development.
• Other responsibilities and tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• General accounting experience required
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel
• CDK experience preferred
• Dealership Accounting experience preferred
• Basic data entry skills
• Knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping principles and procedures
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills required
• Must be able to multitask and follow directions
• Detail Oriented
• Positive attitude and eagerness to improve with strong work ethic
• Able to be successful in an individual and team setting
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Valid U.S. Driver's license and good driving record
• Must pass background check and drug screen
