Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to oversee our operations. The General Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the business, including kitchen management, culinary operations, bartending, food handling, inventory control, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry and possess excellent leadership and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the establishment, including staff management, scheduling, and training
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability
- Monitor inventory levels and control costs to maximize profitability
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative menu offerings and ensure high-quality food preparation
- Manage banquet operations and coordinate events as needed
- Maintain positive relationships with vendors, suppliers, and customers
- Utilize Aloha POS system for order processing and inventory management
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
- Strong knowledge of kitchen management, culinary operations, bartending, and food handling
- Proven track record of successfully managing a team and achieving business goals
- Familiarity with inventory control procedures to minimize waste and maximize efficiency
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with staff, customers, and vendors
- Proficiency in using Aloha POS system or similar software for order processing and inventory management
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
