We are currently looking to fill the position of Sr. Accounts Receivable Supervisor with a starting range of $26.44 - $36.06/hour, dependent upon experience, education, and skills. This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule of work from home and office.

The Sr. Accounts Receivable Supervisor is responsible for leading day-to-day operations of the Accounts Receivable (AR) department including collections, invoicing, new customer credit approvals and AR month-end close activities. This role is responsible for tracking, reviewing and reporting on monthly key performance metrics, and providing backup support to team as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and develop the Accounts Receivable team
• Assist AR team with daily functions including resolving customer discrepancies, system issues and account escalations
• Approve new customer credit applications and review quarterly to ensure credit approval guidelines are in line with reducing company exposure and risk
• Present payment plans and/or special billing terms for approval when needed to manage delinquent customer accounts and limit financial exposure
• Review and approve customer account adjustments within appropriate approval level
• Compile monthly reporting on performance results. Reporting includes the following: AR Balance, DSO, Aged Accounts and Bad Debt
• Assist in month end close activities which include account reconciliations as well as other assigned duties
• Monitor team performance regarding receivables goal attainment, aging receivables, unapplied credits/cash, and other related tasks. Ensures team is on track and help troubleshoot problems that may arise
• Other duties or projects as assigned by management

Travel

0-10% of overnight travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred; comparable experience in related disciplines or comparable working experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Knowledge of the Accounts Payable process is helpful.
• Strong PC skills including demonstrated proficiency with spreadsheet, word processing and internet applications.
• Knowledge of SAP ERP system strongly preferred.
• Ability to calculate figures, percentages and data.
• Ability to communicate effectively to customers and employees throughout the organization.
