We are seeking an efficient Project Coordinator to actively contribute to and support the planning and execution of the product development of our automation control systems. The project Coordinator’s responsibilities include monitoring project progress, managing day-day tasks, scheduling meetings, and maintaining project documents and reports. The Project Coordinator will work with Project Managers to identify and initiate process improvement strategies within engineering and across other departments.

Responsibilities

• Participate and support a lead Project Manager in medium/complex programs (I.e. status updates, meeting minutes, financial tracking etc.)
• Generates analytical reports based on business requirements set forth by project team and leadership
• Coordinate meeting schedules, document, and distribute notes and follow up on action items to ensure continued progress.
• Identify and suggest areas in need of process improvement.
• Identify potential problems and suggest mitigation strategies.
• Help to record achievements, expenses, and measures for success.-Track engineering expenses
• Analyze and discuss the potential risk or benefit involved in using the specified technology solution to address the project requirements.
• Work with suppliers regarding scheduling and follow up on deliveries
• Craft and maintain project documentation, drawings, and change orders
• Completing any tasks assigned by the Project Manager in an efficient and timely manner.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• At 2-3 years experience in a project coordination type role
• Experience with technology development projects preferred
• Familiar with Agile principles
• Experience using Project Management software such as Jira, Monday.com, or Zoho
• Must be solutions driven
• Must have strong proficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically EXCEL and Word.
• High degree of organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Must be able to interact with all levels of the organization in a fast-paced environment
