Position Overview

The Data Specialist will complete regular clinical data reports as required by internal needs, quality programs, and grant projects to support various departments and service lines.

General Responsibilities

• Maintains Azara DRVS, including performing regular data hygiene, validation, and mapping administration. Leads data validation and mapping processes for new measures and add-on modules.
• Submits support tickets and liaises with Azara, FRHC, and Epic staff to improve data accuracy and availability.
• Trains staff of various roles on Azara DRVS use and reporting and develops and maintains end-user tip sheets.
• Leads and contributes to projects and committees dedicated to developing and maintaining recommended workflows for appropriate data capture. Works with staff to ensure data capture in line with workflows and measure definitions.
• Contributes to quality improvement teams by providing data reporting and support, developing customized reports, and reviewing and interpreting data to support data-driven improvement projects.
• Compiles annual UDS clinical and demographic data reporting.
• Maintains reporting dashboards for all service lines and operational needs. .
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, public health, statistics, or related field required.
• 1-3 years related work experience preferred in healthcare and/or data management
• Epic experience preferred
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
