Allied Beverage Group is Hiring a Temporary Beverage Room Consultant Near Elizabeth, NJ
OverviewThis is a temporary part-time position.
The Temporary Beverage Room Consultant will be responsible for spearheading the Spirits Education and Innovation program at Allied Beverage Group during a six-week period. The role involves developing beverage program strategies, conducting staff and internal trainings, creating digital content, and overseeing the operations of the Alchemy Room.
ResponsibilitiesDesign & Refine beverage programs for various accounts to enhance overall gross profit
° Coordinate and communicate with Sales Representative(s), FSM(s), KAM(s), Sales Director(s), PM(s), and VP(s)
° Enforce company-wide “brand standards” for all accounts
° Serve as in-field expert consultant for all ABG spirits
° Provide feedback to PMs and Suppliers on efficacy of new items or trends in market.
Create and deliver comprehensive educational platforms (internally and externally) of spirit brands and category knowledge, but not limited to, basic knowledge, history, production, and cocktail technique
Digital Content Creation
° Assist in the creation of digital content for ABG outlets including, but not limited to, Trade Marketing, HR, Suppliers, new items, and special events.
° Contribute to the shared Cocktail FileProvide comprehensive staff trainings of craft brands and category knowledge for both ABG East & West.
Alchemy Room Management- Working with the Room Coordinator, oversee the daily operations of the Alchemy & Enoteca Rooms, ensuring they are vibrant centers for innovation and demonstration. Assist in scheduling use, maintaining equipment, and coordination of activities

Qualifications
- Associates Degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5yrs Bartending Experience (at least 3yrs in a craft cocktail environment)
- BAR Smarts, B.A.R. 5-Day Advanced, or WSET Certified
- Previous Sales Experience is a plus
- Working knowledge of Spirits & Cocktails
- Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Powerpoint, Excel)
- Adept at social media and digital marketing
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Confident public speaker
