We are looking for a Cath/IR Lab Tech with demonstrated knowledge regarding the location, use, and troubleshooting of complex technical equipment/instruments such as pulmonary artery catheter, intra-aortic balloon pump, portable x-ray, radial/brachial setup, coils, nitric oxide, thrombolysis catheters, peripheral and solid organ angiography and embolization, and peripheral interventions including balloon angioplasty and stenting.
As a Cath/IR Lab Tech, you will assist physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac and peripheral vascular disease and cardiac arrhythmias in the Cath/Angio/EP Lab specializing in the care of patients undergoing PTCA, stent placement, IABP placement, embolization of vascular bleeds, thrombolysis catheter insertion, and EP devices and ablations. Additionally, assists physicians with non-vascular procedures such as percutaneous drain placements, gastrotomies, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and other interventional radiology procedures. With increased experience provides resources and mentoring to new staff while exhibiting enhanced technical skills.
Scheduling Details:

• Four 9 or 10-hour shifts (36 or 40 hrs)
• On-call: 10 total shifts of call per month 3 must be Sat or Sunday (24 hrs)
• The other 7 can be during the week (1630-0700)
• Local Rate within 50 Miles: Reach out to AM 0700-4:30PM
• Four nine-hour shifts Monday through Friday: 36 hours weekly
• **Float Required: IR Coverage 6-8 Cases/Day

Certs Required:

• BLS,
• ACLS Certs
• Preferred: ARRT

Skills Required:

• 1 year of experience required
• Scrub, Monitor, Circulate, Cardiac Cath Lab Procedure Experience

Skills Preferred:

• Interventional Radiology Procedure Experience, Cerner Experience, Phillips and Siemens angio equipment 2 years
• Minimum Experience Required Unit Accepts 1st time travelers
