THIS IS AN ENTRY-LEVEL POSITION :

• Responsible for following all safety and welding procedures while designing, cutting, and permanently joining metal parts together through welding techniques.
• Read blueprints and drawings to identify welding measurements and positions.
• Use tools such as miracle points to perform manual rotations.
• Use and maintain fixtures for specific jobs.
• Must be able to hold tight tolerances.
• Conduct assessments to determine appropriate welding methods and equipment with aluminized, cold-rolled, and stainless steel.
• Utilize braces and clamps in aligning metal components when welding.
• Be able to weld components in flat, overhead, or vertical positions.
• Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps.
• Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.
• Grinding will be part of this role; alternating with welding jobs
• Maintain clean work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• On-the-job training provided

Work Experience :

• Proven experience as a welder / grinder is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents / drawings.
• Experience using electrical or manual tools.
• Experience using a variety of welding / grinding equipment & procedures.
• Lean training is a plus.

Education Requirement :

• Professional Welding Certification (a plus)
• Safety training.
• Math skills.

Contingent upon passing a drug screen including marijuana testing.

We also offer a quarterly profit-sharing bonus after 90 days based on company / employee performance results.
