Description

The Supervisor of Inpatient Services oversees the provision of nursing care on the Medical Surgical, Special Care/ICU, and OB units. Responsible for the operation of these units on a 24 hour a day basis. Provides direct patient care on a scheduled basis and/or when necessary. Enforces departmental policies and procedures, infection control practices, performance improvement processes, risk management, and promotes staff development. Actively promotes the Burgess mission vision and values through role modeling values and coaching of staff.

Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an active Iowa license for Iowa residents or an active license in a compact state in which you reside. ACLS, BCLS, and PALS certified or obtained within 6 months of employment. BSN preferred or working toward completing BSN degree within 3 years of hire.

Must have a minimum of five (5) years clinical experience with three (3) year of management experience preferred.

This is a full-time position.
