Job Summary:
The primary function of a Branch Manager is coordinating and managing all Parts, Service, and equipment sales activities to ensure branch operations achieve the Company's customer service, safety, image, and profitability goals. You will be managing the day-to-day operations of the branch and be accountable for assets, budgets, profitability, and personnel. Develop, communicate, enforce, and monitor effective processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.
Essential Functions:
Manage all branch operations including direct customer contact, new product demos, billing cycles and equipment inventory.
Responsible for the P&L of Service, Parts, and Rental lines of business
Confer with customers as required for problem/solution resolutions and proper supervision of equipment repair and maintenance.
Focus is on service, parts, rentals, and sales.
Hire, train, and motivate staff.
Continuously monitor department goals, objectives, and policies to assure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
Ability to manage and motivate multiple departments to work together towards stated goals and objectives while improving processes within the branch.
Maintain positive working relationships with service staff and company managers as well as all customers.
Ensure all vendor, customer and department processes are followed.
Actively promote safety and the enforcement of safety rules and policies, including the proper disposal of hazardous waste or scrap parts and materials
Educational/Experience Requirements:
5-10 years’ work experience in MHE or industrial sales and service operations and minimum of 5 years’ management preferred.
Demonstrated effective leadership experience to lead and motivate employees.
Verifiable analytical skills and experience in making sound business decisions.
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of top managers, employees, executives, clients, customers, and the general public.
Special Skills Needed:
Basic understanding of financial principles relative to branch operations as well as marketing, customer service and administration.
Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area circumference, and volume Ability to motivate, coach, develop and recognize employees with a can-do-attitude.
Strong work ethic and commitment to do whatever it takes to get the job done.
