SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Human Resources Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting the HR department's functions and ensuring the smooth operation of various HR processes. Responsibilities will include talent acquisition support, payroll support, HRIS maintenance, time and attendance management, benefits administration, onboarding, and FMLA administration.

- Coordinate full-cycle recruitment activities, including job description development, sourcing, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, communication with candidates, coordinate and communication with third party staffing sources, and processing of background checks.
- Support the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization, including hosting new hire orientation.
- Assist in managing day-to-day HR administrative tasks.
- Maintain employee records and ensure accuracy and completeness of HR documentation.
- Handle all FMLA administration, including processing leave requests, maintaining documentation, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Assist employees with benefit inquiries and enrollment processes and support benefit administration processes to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Participate in employee engagement initiatives.
- Oversee timekeeping process and address timekeeping issues promptly to ensure compliance.
- Provide backup payroll support to ensure accurate, timely and reliable payroll operations.
- Assist in supporting the HRIS system including data entry, report generation, data integrity, and system configuration & customization.
- Any additional duties as reasonably assigned by management.
REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE
Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful job performance will be considered. Typical qualifications would be:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration or related field strongly preferred.
- 2 years of experience in human resources, recruiting or related.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills,
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (Ceridian/Dayforce preferred) & Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Working conditions described here are representative of those that may be experienced by an employee daily while performing the functions of this job.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary state for extended periods / 50% of the time at a computer workstation.
- Must be able to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- May access and work in the manufacturing plant, and therefore must be able to wear personal protective gear (PPE) when required. Examples include safety shoes, eye protection, and hearing protection.
- May be required to work overtime or weekends to meet department and business demands.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Must be able to frequently walk and stand for short periods of time.
- Must be able to lift and move up to 10lbs, occasionally lift and move objects up to 35lbs.
