RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL TASKS Assists with the following functions:Installation of personal computers, laptops, printers and other equipment as needed to support the business environment. Installation and configuration of software required by office and manufacturing users.Support of users as needed to optimize efficiency and promotes seamlessness between computer systems.Execution of daily operational activities, as required, to assure data integrity and accuracy.Performance of diagnostic procedures, as needed, to address system integration and data issues. Always operates according to company core values of caring, commitment, and integrity.QUALIFICATIONSEducation, Experience, Preparation and TrainingMust be candidate for a 2 or 4 year college degree with a major in computer science, IT or related field. Minimum of 3.0 GPA or better preferred. Students in sophomore, junior or senior year of college program preferred.Prior experience working in office IT help desk setting is helpful. Skills and AbilitiesSolid communication skills are required (must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English) in order to obtain and understand user requirements, determine user needs and complete documentation. Must be able to perform basic math.Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.Must be comfortable and effective working in a team setting with the ability to collaborate effectively with other department members as well as in an individual contributor role. Must be well organized with ability to learn quickly.Strong analytical skills in order to analyze and detect problems is required.Ability to work on-site in Fall River, MA office is required.
