Position Duties & Responsibilities :

Perform aircraft maintenance, repairs and inspections to aircraft, engines,and components for our Part 145 repair stationHave an understanding of the procedures for the repair station, the use ofthe forms, tags and the required paperwork as outlined in Banyan Air Service'srepair station manuals and FAA manualsHave the minimum required tools to perform the mechanic dutiesDemonstrate proficiency of the Banyan Air work order systemResearch maintenance task instruction guidance and parts required inmanufacturer's maintenance manuals to perform the required tasksIdentification or tagging of all aircraft components when removed from anaircraft undergoing maintenance or modificationProtecting aircraft exteriors and interior prior to work commencementAbility to travel to and from other locations to conduct aircraftmaintenance when to necessary, example AOGA mindset of Safety First.

Perform duties as assigned by Crew Leader or Manager

Required Education and Experience

High School graduate or equivalent requiredAirframe & Powerplant License and valid driver's licenseA minimum of 3 years' experienceStrong working knowledge and understanding of the Federal AviationRegulations and ability to understand manufacturers manualsExcellent communication skills, both written and oral.

Problem solving and troubleshooting skillsAbility to work in hot and noisy environment

Preferred Experience

Corporate turbine powered aircraft experience to include Gulfstream, Global,Challenger, Falcon, Hawker, Lear, Citation, King Air, HondaJet and other typesof corporate business jets.

Avionics background a plus
