Join Avivo in Providing Safe and Supportive Housing: Become a Resident Advocate
Shift: Weekends, Saturday - Sunday, 3:00pm - 11:30pm
About Us: Avivo's Transitional Recovery Housing provides a safe place for participants to reside while they are in outpatient treatment. Participants have access to 24-hour on-site Transitional Housing Staff and Security Team, ensuring a safe and secure environment. The Resident Advocate role is crucial in providing customer service to residents, guests, emergency personnel, and service providers, while also supporting client success through pro-social activities.
Your Role: As a Resident Advocate, you will ensure high-quality, mission-driven services in a safe recovery environment. You will provide flexible services within a schedule that meets the needs of participants, maintain a participant and guest sign-in log, respond to client calls, manage entry, and exits of buildings, and conduct crisis prevention/intervention as needed. Your role will actively participate in the division's Trauma Informed Care Initiative and motivational interviewing, supporting evidence-based practices related to specific program areas.
