About the Role:
IPSY is looking for an extraordinary individual to help us handle quality control processes. As a Quality Coordinator, the perfect candidate will be responsible for supporting daily operations, reviewing, synthesizing, and acting upon inspection reports, and providing feedback to vendors, brand partners, and inbound logistics to ensure timely resolution of outstanding issues. With millions of product units arriving each month, you will play a key role in our quality process and on-time, correct delivery to our members. Does this sound like you? Please note: This is a temporary onsite position (5 days / week) that reports to the Quality Assurance Manager and is based in our distribution center in Harrisburg, North Carolina (a suburb of Charlotte). This role will end at the end of 2024.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Extract data from systems to collate and update various reports, including those for QC inspection results and receipts status.
Review and approve kit layouts to prevent damage in transit, while ensuring Ipsters are delighted.
Prepare corrective action reports for Brand Partner Managers and Merchandising to share with vendors (providing information and pictures as needed).
Conduct various inventory hygiene audits on receipts and ad hoc requests.
Conduct in-process audits for all fulfillment activities, e.g. e-commerce, fast fetch, kitting, and PANDA.
Own all inspection oversight for inbound and onsite quality control activities at the NC facility, and support other team members in their absence as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing, logistics, and/or inventory control in an e-commerce or retail environment, and/or quality control (can be a combination of education and experience).
Intermediate Excel skills are critical for success, along with ERP (Netsuite) and WMS (Softeon, SAP) systems
Uses inspection data to request additional inspections, determine next steps, communicate to stakeholders, and disposition products. Partners with Warehouse teams to deliver results with little direct control of timing.
Passionate about quality control, with a fervent commitment to excellence.
Knowledgeable / experienced in inventory management.
Demonstrates strong problem solving and critical thinking skills, with a high level of attention to detail and organization.
Strong team player with the ability to collaborate on projects with internal and external teams to complete projects and achieve desired results, along with ability to work independently, in a fast-paced environment (team-work mentality and strong cross-functional collaboration).
Demonstrate strong oral and written communication.
Strives to go all out for impact. Seeks to innovate as much as possible while using good judgment. Takes ownership and is accountable for respecting others and communicating honestly while having fun.

Salary Range: $29/hour-$32/hour
Pay is based on several non discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, education, skills and office location. In addition to your salary, IPSY also offers a bonus, equity grants and competitive benefits package. Final compensation will be determined based on experience and skills and may vary from the range listed above.
