Job Description

Firespring is ISO an experienced and knowledgeable marketing and strategic professional to serve as our director of account services. If you answer the call, you’ll lead a team and will help manage key partner-level accounts and client projects, acting as the main liaison between clients and Firespring team members while proactively working with our sales team to grow accounts and drive marketing strategy for our clients. The director of account services leads the account management team while positioning Firespring as our clients’ most trusted advisor on their complete strategic marketing needs. 

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Lead your Account Services team and hold them accountable for defined KPIs, client deliverables and overall client satisfaction.
  • Create and cultivate a vision for your team and the department on what growth means for our clients and our teams and help teams identify those growth opportunities.
  • Understand the clients’ needs and desired results in order to review, and provide any feedback on, the final deliverables for our clients.
  • Focus on long-term retention and growth of accounts by cultivating and maintaining client relationships.
  • Produce strategic marketing solutions and a creative and innovative approach to problem solving for our clients.
  • Identify opportunities and develop collaborative strategies that provide value and lead to account growth and retention.
  • Focus on future-facing account growth strategies and staying two steps ahead of our clients and their needs.
  • Guide Account Services team on key marketing trends, account pacing and timelines.
  • Engage in a partnership with the Account Services team and other stakeholders to understand the needs of our clients and be able to translate those needs into strategic and intentional actions that drive results.
  • Lead the Account Services team through the execution of projects, overseeing project quality, budgets and delivery schedules/timelines.
  • Provide clear and consistent communication of all relevant information between the client and internal stakeholders.
  • Be the voice of the client with internal teams and operational stakeholders.
  • Ensure the client’s complete satisfaction with every interaction.

Qualifications

  • At least 7 years of experience developing marketing strategies within an agency environment.
  • Thrive independently, taking initiative on various projects while simultaneously collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Flourish in a fast-paced, proactive and reactive environment, meeting the creative and professional needs of our clients.
  • Have an innate passion to mentor and elevate fellow team members.
  • Polished social skills and professional poise that translate to strong presentation skills.
  • Skills in delegating tasks to others and defining clear role expectations, while continuing to push the team’s projects forward cohesively.
  • Exceptional strategic and creative problem solving skills; you understand the full spectrum of each unique solution.
  • Superior ability to express your ideas clearly and tactfully, giving your team the confidence and direction they need while valuing the contributions and insights from others.
