Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the self-performing paint division.
• Seek new business opportunities both within the general contractor's projects and with outside clients.
• Create accurate estimates for paint projects, ensuring profitability and competitiveness.
• Review scopes of work and contracts to ensure alignment with company standards and objectives.
• Negotiate subcontracts with suppliers and subcontractors to achieve cost-effective solutions.
• Provide leadership and direction to field operations teams, ensuring quality and efficiency in project execution.
• Report directly to the President of the general contractor, providing regular updates on division performance and strategic direction.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in the paint industry, with a strong understanding of materials, techniques, and best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams effectively, with a focus on driving results and fostering collaboration.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
