Job Summary

The CNG Facility Technician will be responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance, application, start-up, and commissioning of CNG equipment.

The CNG Facility Technician will play a key role in supporting CNG delivery operations while providing overall technical assistance to the company and our customers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

This position will support our CNG Facility in Odessa, Tx.

Schedule : 12-hour shifts, 14 days on and 7 days off

Duties / Responsibilities :

• Provides support for maintenance, repairs, installs and troubleshooting CNG and facility equipment according to safety, rational, and productive maintenance systems
• Completes facility maintenance work-orders and related paperwork
• Assist with the auditing & safety inspections of Compressor, CNG Trailers, Pressure Reduction Systems (PRS) and related equipment
• Facilitate equipment for upcoming jobs, including pre-job certifications
• Ensure pressure equipment & trailers are prepared for delivery to the customer’s facility
• Remain current with all management of change installs and retrofits on pressure equipment
• Repair and test demobilized pressure equipment for upcoming jobs
• Ensure all repairs and OOS equipment is up to date in maintenance tacking systems
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas

Qualifications

Required Skills / Abilities :

• Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, and an ability to deal diplomatically with a wide range of personalities
• Troubleshooting experience with regulators, valves, instrumentation and electrical

Education, Certification, Licenses Required :

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Physical, Mental, Behavioral Requirements :

Position requires the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to heavy weights of 10 to 80 lbs.

for approximately 90% of the work shift

• Good hand eye coordination, arm hand and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp and visual acuity to operate equipment is required, including at night
• Frequent sitting, reaching with hands and arms
• Must be able to speak and hear
• Must pass pre-employment screening and background check
• Work is normally performed outside where exposure to conditions of extreme heat / cold, fumes, gases and airborne particles is common
