This position is a Fully Remote work opportunity. Two weeks of on-site training are required at Winchester Medical Center located in Winchester VA, travel and stay are covered by Valley Health.

What You Will Do:
Senior Microsoft Engineer will be lead person for development and support for all Microsoft centric products in the Valley Health enterprise environment both on-premise and cloud based. More specifically, evaluate, design, plan and implement Exchange messaging, SQL Server, and Active Directory environments. Provide trending and gap analysis of server and storage infrastructure. Troubleshooting problems, maintaining a stable environment, and ensuring proper backups is of utmost importance. Project work with client server infrastructure installations will be a significant part of the job, including interfacing with a wide range of departments within the System to ascertain requirements, and provide solutions. Ability to perform knowledge transfer and strong documentation skills.
What You Will Bring:
Education
BS Degree required in Computer Science or related field. MCSE or Advanced certification required
Experience
Five (5) years of diverse and in-depth experience in supporting and implementing Microsoft products in a large enterprise environment: Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange, SQL Server, System Center products.
Five (5) years of experience in integration of TCP/IP Networks
Three (3) years of experience with System Center management software.
Two (2) years of experience with Storage Area Networks (SANs) management experience a plus.
Qualifications
Strong written and verbal communication skills required
Ability to prioritize multiple projects to meet deadlines required
