• Cleaning and preparing apartment units for occupancy; cleans rooms, appliances, bathrooms, and floor and wall surfaces using standard cleaning methods.
• Cleans property management office using standard cleaning methods.
• Transports and stores cleaning supplies and chemicals.
• Performs safe cleaning practices: handles, mixes, and stores chemicals safely.
• Breaks down appliances for cleaning; removes, cleans, and replaces trays, grills, and other removal parts of appliances.
• Collects and disposes of litter/trash.
• Completes standard work documents, such as work orders.
• Performs similar routine custodial duties as assigned by supervisor.

About the Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate for this job will have:

• A High School diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificate (for reading and writing competency).
• One to two years of experience in a janitorial or maintenance position preferred for this position.
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 to 50 pounds, such as ranges, furniture, filled buckets, and containers.
