A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FIELD SAFETY PROFESSIONAL
As a Field Safety Professional, you focus on assisting field leaders by conducting safety training, site safety inspections, incident investigations and promoting company safety procedures for our utility crews. Applying your exceptional organizational and communication skills, you will develop strong relationships with our field crews to ensure the positive outlook of safety for our Hydaker-Wheatlake employees.
While you may spend a lot of time in the field with our utility line crews, another part of this role is assisting with onboarding and training new employees. Your interpersonal skills and attention to detail are incredibly important to ensure a smooth first impression for each of our new teammates.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A FIELD SAFETY PROFESSIONAL
- Previous experience working in the Electric Utility Industry
- Passion for learning
- Self-starter and willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done
- Strong communication skills
- Working Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
- Capable of working on multiple projects at same time to meet deadlines.
- Availability to respond to storm or emergency work
