This student employment position assists the staff in the Kricker Innovation Hub.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Help to set-up the Kricker Hub’s Digital Makerspace
• Provide coverage of the Kricker Hub’s Digital Makerspace Area – greet customers and provide information
• Assist customers in utilizing tools in the digital makerspace area
• Assist with event planning, set up, and facilitation
• Provide occasional front desk coverage, answer phones, emails, and interact with visitors
• Assist with marketing and communications at the Kricker Hub when appropriate, including engaging on social media, creating posts, and writing copy
• Perform other tasks as needed

• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be dependable
• A working knowledge of 3-D printing and other makerspace equipment is a plus

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Enrolled as a full-time student at SSU (12 hours for undergraduate and 9 hours for graduate) and in good academic standing
