The Fulfillment Supervisor will oversee a department or area of our operation, with a focus on a key production or fulfillment team. They will be responsible for effectively leading and developing a team of employees towards our mission to sustainably feed people and demonstrate an ability to lead teams in an engaging and effective manner. Your time will likely be split approximately as follows: (50%) planning, scheduling, administrative tasks, personal development, team development, and meetings and (50%) Active team supervision, coaching, and assisting them with task completion.
Reports to: Production Manager
Schedule: Nights
Salary: $55,000 to $60,000
Key Responsibilities for you and your team:
Help ensure all Food Safety, HACCP, Quality, and GMP requirements and programs are followed, modeling the appropriate behavior personally and ensuring your team’s compliance.
Continually improve the quality and performance of your employees through feedback, coaching, training, and accountability using an engaging leadership style
Work with the HR team to interview, hire, train, and develop new team members
Regularly interact with and support other departments using professional and prompt written and verbal communication and create a “One Team” mindset.
Actively support all Company Safety efforts and initiatives, including OSHA standards
Work with the Production or Inventory Control Manager to achieve key operational metrics, including but not limited to productivity, credits reduction, and inventory variance
Accurately complete and take ownership for any necessary administrative tasks
Ensure their teams are actively supporting our goal of providing our customers with the highest quality product, orders filled accurately, and deliveries made on time.
Understand key business metrics and KPIs and ensure your department is achieving their goals. You must have a solutions mindset and the resilience to overcome obstacles
Knowledge of, and adherence to, all provisions of the CBA
Safely operate material handling equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, lift trucks, etc.

Understand that the first part of teamwork is leading a strong and effective team. However, they are great at offering and accepting help from other departments and actively support meeting company objectives.
Are great planners. They balance the need to prepare for that day’s shift, for that week, and also spend time looking months ahead.
Are great communicators. They clearly communicate to their teams, to their manager, to their peers all relevant information to help others do their jobs.
Are great at conflict resolution. They keep issues from developing by handling them appropriately in a quick and professional manner.
Take ownership of their development. They are willing to ask for help or feedback, they act on development needs presented by their manager, and make an effort to continue to grow their leadership impact.
Preferred Experience:
2-3 years comparable leadership experience in a warehouse or production environment
High School Diploma or G.E.D. required, B.S. or B.A. a plus
Working knowledge of Microsoft Applications and ability to learn and use Teams effectively
Knowledge of Seafood is a huge plus!
Some schedule flexibility. We value a work/life balance, but have a very seasonal business that requires flexibility from the company and its leaders
Working Conditions/Physical Activity
Supervisors will typically work in various temperatures, but regularly in refrigerated or frozen areas of the warehouse and ambient office environments. This can be a physically demanding position, requiring frequent periods of sitting, standing, climbing, bending, crouching, lifting, pushing, and pulling. There is frequent lifting of up to 20 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
