Comcast Spectacor is Hiring a Retail Warehouse Supervisor (Part Time) Near Philadelphia, PA
- Supervises the on-site and off-site warehouse, including overseeing all aspects of inventory control, storage, and distribution processes.
- Implements merchandise is received, stored, replenished, and distributed efficiently and accurately.
- Provide direction to part-time warehouse staff to ensure all procedures are completed for each event, for example: staffing and assigning locations/roles/tasks for the event, post-event break down, warehouse returns, equipment storage, sanitation and maintenance, etc.
- Conduct transfers of inventory to maintain accuracy and accountability.
- Execute correct Concert and Event procedure and documentation for all merch transfers of product to/between stands, count out product to be verified with Solution sales, verify remaining inventory with merchandise representative, and works closely with Sr. General Manager.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Utilize warehouse management systems and other relevant software to track inventory and manage warehouse operations effectively.
- Perform routine maintenance checks; responsible for cleaning and maintenance: portable equipment, carts, floors, refrigeration, and lighting. Ensure manifested equipment is in location.
- Motivate warehouse staff, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 2 years similar venue experience.
- Minimum 2 years warehouse/distribution and/ or supervisory experience a plus.
- Forklift certification a plus.
- Ability to make sound business/operations decisions (i.e. regarding employee placement, staffing adjustments, and/or respond to technical, product or equipment challenges during an event) quickly and under pressure.
- Detail oriented, ability to multi-task.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and long hours.
- Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, management staff, vendors and guests in a clear, professional and respectful manner.
- Ability to speak and read in English at an intermediate level.
- Ability to calculate basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages) as they relate to POS transactions and product inventory.
- Ability to consistently adhere to the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality.
