Position: Plant Controller

UNIVERSAL Technologies is seeking a Plant Controller for a hybrid manufacturing facility position in Hudson, NY, specializing in goat cheese production.

Position Overview: The Plant Controller will oversee accounting operations, including inputting, reconciling, and processing financial transactions related to the manufacturing plant. Additionally, the Controller will be responsible for preparing comprehensive financial statements and reports, with a focus on cost accounting and inventory management. The ideal candidate will exhibit a strong drive for learning and contribute to the successful growth of our organization.

• Experienced in consistently demonstrating quality work and good judgment.
• Proficient in Excel; familiarity with Epicor is highly preferred.
• Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, inventory management, and standard costing.
• Ability to work in a cloud-based environment.
• Must have knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Must have three years of experience in accounting/finance.
• Must have costing experience.
