EAG is starting the search for a Business Intelligence Developer, responsible for the design, development, and implementation of end-to-end BI Solutions, to join our Outsourcing team.

The person in this role is expected to demonstrate daily the appropriate analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills to fulfill the responsibilities outlined below and generate quality results. Strong time management, written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate to individuals at all levels of the organization, are essential along with the ability to work as part of a team. All members of the EAG team are expected to actively participate in our team environment, communicate with our customers in a professional and service-oriented manner and identify process improvement and optimization opportunities. As EAG continues to grow, members must be able to handle changing priorities, new challenges, and multi-tasking.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
• Present results and findings to internal and external project management and C level personnel.
• Design, develop, and implement BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations tailored to the unique needs of the oil and gas industry. Create friendly report UI interactions with smooth transition from KPI to detailed analytics
• Design relational data models for custom developed reports
• Integrate AI technologies into BI solutions to provide predictive analytics, optimization, and actionable insights for operational efficiency.
• Utilize SQL, Python, and other relevant programming languages to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources.
• Assist in identifying trends in Business Intelligence and staying at the forefront of technology.
• Provide exceptional client service while building relationships with clients and internal team members.

POSITION, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS (Minimum Qualifications):

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of BI solution Architectural approaches and data models, e.g., Kimball
• Strong understanding of AI concepts, machine learning, and their practical applications in the oil and gas industry.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other programming languages commonly used in data analysis and machine learning.
• Strong understanding of BI Technology Stacks (Microsoft), Data Engineering Solutions, Data modeling, and Software Engineering principles and best practices.
• Experience with cloud technology stacks (preferably Azure)
• Advanced experience with Microsoft ETL tools (Azure Data Factory and SSIS), the SQL Server platform, and the Microsoft BI Stack (Analysis Services, Reporting Services, Power BI.)
• Proven experience as a BI Developer with a strong portfolio of successful BI implementations.
• Knowledge of the Oil and Gas industry is preferred for analysis of common KPIs.
• Strongly prefer oil and gas ERP back-end knowledge (Quorum, Enertia, ProCount, Peloton, etc.).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
