Description

Founded in 1990, LGH stands at the forefront of the hoisting and rigging equipment rental industry, providing rental equipment responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of everything from the bridges you drive on to the sports stadiums you visit. 

In this position, you will review, analyze, and modify corporate internal and external systems including encoding, testing, debugging, and documenting programs. Must have extensive experience with the Swift programming language.

• Development and ongoing support of internal and external mobile applications;
• Responsible for maintenance and development of corporate databases that support the mobile application;
• Responsible for the documentation of applications;
• Develop analysis and programming guidelines and documentation standards;
• Assist in application training to end users;
• May be required to provide supplemental hardware, software, and end-user support as needed;
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Hours: Monday – Friday (8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.)

Requirements

Education/Training:

• Bachelors degree strongly preferred

Experience:

• Three or more years experience in mobile applications programming required.
• Proficient in Swift with a good knowledge of its ecosystems.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming.
• Experience with Cocoa APIs.
• Prior knowledge of memory management and multi-threading.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect to back-end services.
• Previous database experience with MySQL.
• Database organization, access, and retrieval techniques.
• Good sense of UI design and a user-oriented focus
• Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries a plus.
• Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines.
• Systems analysis, development, planning, and documentation methods and standards.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tool Git.
