JMT Staffing Solutions is partnering with a growing construction firm based in Springfield that is looking to hire an AR/Billing Specialist on a temporary to hire basis. As an AR/Billing Specialist, you will assist with the day to day financial activities of the construction office.

Key Duties Include:

• Creation of monthly invoicing, with all corresponding paperwork
• Inputting new jobs
• Job closeouts giving special attention to change order and contracts not billed 100%
• Confirm Manufacturer’s warranties have been sent
• Maintain Closeout files
• Cash receipt posting
• Organize records of invoices and deposits electronically
• Resolve issues of customers and clients
• Maintain vendor database
• Assist in month-end closings and year end file maintenance
• Work closely with the Project Managers
• Time & Material billing from Extra Work Orders
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned or directed

The ideal candidate will come with 2 years of AR/Billing experience. Prior experience with construction office finance and AIA Billing is a plus. This will be an on-site position, 40 hours per week. There is an opportunity to become a permanent employee with full benefits should this be a good fit.
