Job Title: Product Manager
Location: Century City, CA – Onsite 2 days a week

You will work with technologies that include Web/Mobile applications, Jira, and WordPress.
Compensation Expectation : $60 – 80/hr
What You'll Do As a Product Manager:
- Support the Director of Product Management with development and launch of new features and capabilities for the company’s primary website in partnership with our Engineering , Design, and Research.
- Be the voice of the customer and the product evangelist to users, executives, and partners
- Contribute to the proactive engagement product strategy and execution of the roadmap
- Feed the product backlog, ensuring our Engineering team has adequate detail to interpret user stories and success/acceptance criteria
- Liaise with various partners like the CMS team and Editorial as required on new capabilities
- Produce detailed written specifications (i.e. user stories) for web products. Gather requirements to define minimum viable product and phasing
- Perform thorough user acceptance testing with strong attention to detail and performance
- Understand the competitive landscape and evolving customer needs
- Stay current on sports and entertainment products, topics and trends
Qualifications:
You could be a great fit if you have:
- At least 4-5 years of experience in a consumer product focused role (Product Management or Technical Product Management)
- Understanding of web technologies and how HTML, CSS, and JavaScript function (preferred, not required)
- Understanding of REST APIs and how JSON responses/data is used to build dynamic web pages (preferred, not required)
- Ability to communicate with effectiveness and empathy
- Enthusiasm and passion for great products and demonstrated customer focus
- Ability to take a collaborative approach to operate in a matrixed environment
- Can-do attitude with a passion for digital products and technology
- Analytically savvy – leveraging both quantitative and qualitative insights to drive outcome-driven product decisions
- Experience writing product specifications for development teams
- Strong affinity for sports and familiarity with competing products
- Interest in gambling, live streaming, data visualizations, esports, and social media platforms
