CATS Master Control Operator

This part time position provides friendly and helpful service to Library patrons and perform a wide variety of technical and clerical support tasks to ensure the smooth operation of broadcast programming for the multiple-channel, Community Access Television Services (CATS) network located in the Monroe County Public Library ground floor.
Answers questions and assist users of CATS recording and editing equipment. Checks-in returned equipment and materials. Verifies the equipment is in good working order and is placed in their proper storage location. Maintains accurate records. Responds to viewer requests, including media duplication/program proposal inquiries. Switches and programs LIVE and recorded telecasts according to set schedules, and monitors the CATS network for audio and video quality. Resolves basic cable-casting technical issues.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent. Basic knowledge of fundamental video and audio concepts.
Ability to maintain reliable and consistent work schedules a must.
