Description

Supports Coating leadership and staff, with activities of workers engaged in training, operating, optimizing, and troubleshooting machinery and processes within the Coating Department at CTC by performing the following duties personally.

Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily, other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary by supervisor.

• Provide leadership to Coating personnel in absence of Shift Leader as required.
• Maintain safe work practices at all times and demonstrate same to colleagues
• Address all Safety issues for personnel, machinery and support equipment
• Maintain Housekeeping and strong 6S skills in Coating area
• Provide minor repairs and adjustments of production equipment during production
• Support personnel on machinery processes including being fully qualified and capable of training on all aspects of the machine and work cell for which they are assigned as Machine Lead
• Assist with maintaining spare parts and consumables
• Monitor and adjust optimization of all equipment to maintain quality and efficiency
• Confirmation and Completion of Production Orders in SAP
• Support Continuous Improvement initiatives throughout Coating.
• Assist with documentation of logged activities and events such as, productivity, downtime(s), communications, etc. as required.
• Performs quality checks according to the Babtec test plans and makes decisions accordingly
• Perform other duties and tasks as deemed necessary
