Overview:

We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. As a Direct Support Professional, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities by providing essential care and support.

Responsibilities:

- Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
- Implement behavior management techniques to support individuals with challenging behaviors
- Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals under your care
- Support individuals in participating in social and recreational activities
- Assist with transportation needs, including driving individuals to community outings
- Perform heavy lifting tasks as needed to assist individuals with mobility

Skills:

- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities is preferred
- Ability to drive and possess a valid driver's license
- Proficient in providing patient care and caregiving services
- Strong skills in behavior management and supporting individuals with diverse needs
- Competent in meal preparation and ensuring dietary needs are met

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
