Job Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and report changes in residents' health status to nursing staff.
- Help residents with mobility and physical exercises.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Follow care plans and document services provided.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) required.
- Previous experience in a nursing home or healthcare setting is a plus.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Physical ability to perform caregiving tasks.
