What are the responsibilities and job description for the Enterprise Account Executive, Carrier position at ZYWAVE INC?
As an Enterprise Account Executive focused on the insurance carrier segment, you will drive strategic sales initiatives targeting top-tier insurance carriers. You’ll be responsible for expanding Zywave’s footprint by selling our SaaS solutions that support underwriting, distribution, and digital engagement. This is a high-impact role for a consultative seller who thrives in complex enterprise environments.
What you will do:
- Take ownership of your own success by strategizing a business case to target key accounts, network and build relationships through clients, and are at ease discussing price.
- You are comfortable in front of a room and can easily navigate software tools and presentation technology while discovering pain points.
- You have success selling into complex, large clients through a strategic and consultative approach.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to penetrate and grow relationships with insurance carriers
- Lead end-to-end sales cycles, from prospecting and discovery to negotiation and close
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and customer success teams to tailor solutions to carrier needs
- Deliver compelling presentations and demos that highlight Zywave’s value across the insurance lifecycle
- Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and CRM hygiene
- Represent Zywave at industry events, conferences, and webinars
What you should bring:
- 8 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in SaaS or insurtech
- Proven success selling into insurance carriers or large financial institutions
- Deep understanding of carrier workflows, distribution models, and digital transformation trends
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Willingness to travel up to 40%
