Senior Receptionist & Switchboard - Administrative Support
Summary:
This position is a hybrid role. The candidate will support reception duties at the client's front desk. The rest of the time, they will be assisting in our mailroom. Again, this is not a pure reception position. Lifting is minimal, and they will be working alongside other Ricoh employees.
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Assists applicants in completing applications.
· Distributes name badges to visitors, temporary employees, etc.
· Issue facility access cards to employees.
· Schedules meeting rooms for all.
· Answers and transfers calls from all over the United States.
· Participates enthusiastically in company and community service events.
· Understands other work areas.
· Performs light administrative duties.
· Performs PC Support and Administrative duties as needed.
· Acts as a model for Vision, Values, and Mission.
· Builds professional relationships with customers and other teams.
· Responsible for the timely updates of the company phone and speed dial lists.
· Responsible for issuing the Company Loaner Cell Phones.
· Assists the Administration or any other team when needed for various tasks (envelope labels, compiling manuals, etc.).
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum and Desired Qualifications (Education/Experience/Skills):
· Requires a high school diploma and 2 years of prior switchboard experience.
· MS Office Suite experience is a plus, specifically Word and Excel.
· Possesses excellent customer service skills and is detail-oriented.
· Possesses the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Demands:
· Typically works in an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation, and a normal range of temperature and noise.
· Requires daily contact within the department.
· Work has some occasional stress due to periodical or cyclical workload pressures.
· Minimal physical effort is required. Work is mostly sedentary but does require walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting, or carrying objects that typically weigh less than 10 lbs. (e.g., papers, books, files, and small parts, etc.).
· Requires regular application of basic skills (calculator, keyboard, hand tools, eye/hand coordination).

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
