What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Account Executive position at Zycus?
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Account Executive/Regional Sales Manager/ Regional Sales Director to drive our sales efforts on the West Coast of North America. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in SaaS sales, particularly within the procurement software industry, and will be responsible for hunting and acquiring net new accounts. This is an individual contributor role focused on generating new business and expanding our customer base.
Key Responsibilities:
- New Business Development: Identify, target, and acquire new clients within the West Coast region. Develop and execute strategies to generate new business opportunities.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve and exceed sales targets. Focus on hunting and closing new accounts.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients. Understand their needs and provide tailored solutions to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends. Provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer success, to ensure a seamless customer experience and drive business growth.
- Reporting: Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, providing regular updates to senior management. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and optimize sales strategies.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in SaaS sales, with a strong focus on new business development. Experience in the procurement software industry is highly preferred.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities. Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Results-Oriented: Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Travel: Will be required to travel in the US and visit customers.
- Must be a US Citizen, Permanent Resident or EAD Card Holder
