Graphic Designer- PT

Scope:The Graphic Designer will be responsible for supporting the Marketing Communications department in visually executing ideas from concept to production for various print and digital initiatives focusing on a holistic consumer journey across a wide range of marketing components including print (direct mail, in-store signage) and digital campaigns (emails, site assets, digital advertising, and social media). This role requires strong typographic and design skills with an interest in the home goods sector and a concise understanding of using brand standards. The role reports to the Marketing Communications Design Manager and is part of a team of designers within the department.Primary Job ResponsibilitiesCreate and design a variety of assets for marketing for our five brands including:Digital campaigns (including promotional and dynamically driven campaigns) utilizing templates when availableRetail signage, displays, sell sheets and product launch materialsAssist team members with internal design needs, print and digital, as needed.Present designs for approval and feedback to Marketing Communications Design Manager.Our ideal candidate should:Proficiency in all graphic design softwareDemonstrated understanding of production/file preparationBe able and willing to carry a project through the entire design process: from concept, to creating mock-ups, revising to incorporate feedback, adjust for final details, to exporting final assets. At times you must project manage your own work.Possess strong organizational skills - planning, expediting, prioritizing, multi-tasking and meeting deadlines.Must be able to work in multiple categories and passion to become an expert in all brand standards and graphic templates.Be self-motivated, takes direction as well as able to work independently.Be flexible, resourceful, proactive and energetic.Compensation Range: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour, contingent upon experience.Qualifications:Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree preferred5 years digital/web and retail experienceExperience in display and retail designStrong verbal and written communication skillsProficient on MacOSX with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)Knowledge of Google Suite and Office 365 applicationsABOUT US:For over 290 years, ZWILLING J.A.
