We are seeking a full-time Inventory Allocation Analyst to join our Operations team at our office in Winchester, Virginia.
Working hours for this position are Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm.
Job Description
The primary function of the Inventory Allocation Analyst is to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment from our Winchester VA warehouse. This position is responsible for managing the allocation of inventory within the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to meet operational goals. A strong understanding of inventory flow and order processing is essential to success in this role.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Order Fulfillment & Allocation
- Allocate inventory to customer orders in the WMS system for shipments through the Winchester warehouse
- Coordinates with the Sales Department to prioritize order fulfillment as needed
- Allocates and prioritizes all sales unit orders, monitors stock levels, and addresses any shortages or delays.
- Communicate assembly stock needs for VAS (Value-Added Services) orders.
- Coordinates with Cycle Count Clerk/Inventory Supervisor for physical product moves within the warehouse and WMS system.
Inventory Management
- Maintain a thorough understanding of inventory processes, accuracy, and auditing procedures.
- Validate inventory data within the WMS to ensure product availability and system integrity.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 years’ experience in order fulfillment or inventory management within a WMS system is preferred.
- Strong planning, organizational and communication skills.
- Must be able to work more than 40 hours a week when business is necessary; this position will require remote access and overtime as needed.
