Location:Zwick Yard
Compensation:$20$28 per hour (depending on experience)
Schedule:Full-time preferred; part-time considered (minimum 3 days per week)

Position Overview

Zwick Yard isseekinga reliable, capable team member to support our equipment yard operations and project teams. This role combinesequipmentlogistics, basic mechanical work, welding, and yard organization. The ideal candidate is hands-on, mechanically inclined, organized, and committed tomaintaininga clean and efficient yard while delivering excellent service to our project teams.

Key Responsibilities

Equipment Transport & Logistics

• Assistwith thedelivery and pickup of equipment.

• Safelyoperatetruck and trailer combinations.

• Properlysecure loads on flatbed trailers.

• Evaluateload weight, balance, and trailer handling characteristicsfor safe transport.

• Maintain aclean driving record.

Equipment Maintenance & Repair

• Performroutine maintenance and basic repairson equipment.

• Diagnoseminor mechanical issuesandresolvewhen possible.

• Maintain abasic understanding of typical equipment maintenance procedures.

• Troubleshootbasic electrical systems commonly used on project sites.

Welding & Fabrication

• Performbasic welding repairs in the fieldwhenrequired.

• Set up andoperateafield welder.

• Assistwithsteel fabrication projects in the shopas needed.

Digital Operations

• Use Zwick Yardsrental software on an iPadto track equipment and operations.

• Achieveproficiencywith:
  • Basic functions within 1 month
  • Advanced functions within 3 months
  • Assistinsupporting and training project teams on software use within 3 months.
