Title: Data Engineer

Location: VA

Duration: Long Term Contract role

Job Description:

• 5 Years of experience designing, developing and implementing ETL and ELT on large volumes of data using informatica, talend, DMS syncsort
• 5 Years of experience with dimensional data modeling techniques (Star Schema, Slowly changing Dimensions (SCD1)) and integrating data to these models
• 5 Years of experience writing complex SQL in a data warehouse setup
• At least 5 Years of experience in delivering business intelligence reporting warehouse using reporting tools (such as MicroStrategy, Tableau, Birst)
• 3 Years of experience orchestrating complex workflows and exception handling using UNIX / Linux operating system and shell scripting
• At least 3 Years of experience working with recognized industry data integration patterns, methodologies, and techniques (using Spark / Python, Spark / SQL)
• At least 3 Years experience monitoring overall data quality, ensuring data integrity and establishing consistent data definitions (using SQL / Databricks or some procedural language)
• At least 2 Years of experience on one of the modern data analysis tools (Databricks, SnowFlake, Python, Jupyter)
