Driver

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a valid driver’s license, experience with commercial driving, and the ability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting and moving. The Driver will operate various vehicles, including box trucks, and ensure timely deliveries across designated routes. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Duties

• Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles for route driving and deliveries
• Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques
• Ensure accurate loading and securement of goods to prevent damage during transit
• Deliver packages or goods to customers following specified routes and schedules
• Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining professionalism and addressing customer inquiries
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues
• Assist with warehouse tasks such as moving inventory and organizing shipments
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during operations
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs

Experience

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with warehouse experience
• Prior experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles with manual transmissions
• Familiarity with route driving, load & unload procedures, and heavy lifting techniques
• Experience using forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus but not mandatory
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols related to commercial driving and cargo handling
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
• Ability to handle physical demands such as moving heavy items and working in various weather conditions

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
