We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Injector to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Administer botulinum toxin treatments and dermal fillers to patients, ensuring optimal results and patient satisfaction.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations, to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans for patients, particularly those with complex needs such as developmental disabilities or chronic conditions.
- Provide education and health coaching to patients regarding post-treatment care and overall wellness.
- Ensure the highest standards of aseptic technique during all procedures to minimize infection risk.
- Stay current with advancements in aesthetic medicine and participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.
Skills
- Proficient in administering injections with experience in botulinum toxin treatment and dermal fillers.
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks.
- Strong clinical skills including IV insertion, phlebotomy, vital signs monitoring, and patient assessment.
- Knowledge of ICD-10 coding, medical terminology, and documentation practices.
- Experience in various healthcare settings such as hospitals (including Level I and II trauma centers), outpatient clinics, long-term care facilities, or home care environments.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, and individuals with disabilities or chronic illnesses.
- Excellent communication skills for educating patients and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
