Responsibilities:
- Find and sign new carrier partnerships and effectively utilize these partnerships by providing carrier direct rates to customers and covering shipments
- Train and partner with carriers to accept tenders, assign tracking, quote in the Marketplace
- Remain in frequent contact with carriers in your responsibility to understand their needs
- Negotiate agreements and keep records of sales and data
- Targeting minimum of 10 shipments per day average (monthly scale)
- At least 1 year demonstrated experience as Carrier Representative, Carrier Sales Specialist, Operations Representative or in other sales/customer service type role
- Strong knowledge and experience in conducting market research, sales, and negotiations
- Outstanding knowledge of G-Suite; comfortable in learning new proprietary software systems
- Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
- Organizational and time-management skills
- BS or BA in business is preferred
- Competitive base and commission
