Role overview
Zutari’s digital advisory team is expanding its data team, developing innovative solutions for clients across infrastructure sectors like energy, transport, water, and buildings. They collaborate with BIM and IoT teams to connect static 3D and asset data with real-time information to create digital twins.
Role responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers and data engineers/scientists on several concurrent projects.
- Extract and organise raw data from different sources e.g. Building Information Modelling (BIM), IOT and ERP systems.
- Design and implement data architectures and pipelines.
- Data analysis and BI dashboards
- Identify and building machine learning/AI proof of concepts
Minimum requirements
- A “can-do” attitude, passion for using data in engineering domains.
- Bachelor’s degree (engineering or computer science)
- At least 4 years’ experience in data engineering/ data science.
- Fluent in Python, object-oriented design and development, unit testing, Git version control
- Hands-on experience with SQL databases and data warehousing
- Good writing and presentation skills
The following will be considered advantageous:
- Master’s or higher qualification
- Construction or manufacturing industry experience
- Data engineering certification
- Software development
- Docker (Containerisation)
- Experience with building with ML/AI tools.
- Cloud and data platform experience Snowflake, Fabric, Data Bricks, Big Query or similar
- MQTT
- SCADA
