Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end order fulfillment processes, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of customer orders across multiple sales channels.
- Coordinate with warehouse teams to manage inventory levels, stock replenishment, and materials handling to meet demand planning requirements.
- Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS) to optimize shipping logistics, freight arrangements, and transportation planning.
- Conduct data analysis using tools like SQL, Excel, and Tableau to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify root causes of delays or errors, and implement process improvements.
- Manage vendor relationships and supplier management activities, including procurement, sourcing, negotiation, and trade compliance adherence for international trade regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as purchasing, category management, and customer service to ensure alignment on pricing strategies, demand forecasting, and inventory control.
- Lead process improvement initiatives by analyzing warehouse operations, materials management practices, and supply chain analytics to enhance efficiency and reduce manual handling.
Skills
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in Excel data analysis, spreadsheets, SQL queries, and Tableau dashboards.
- Extensive experience with warehouse experience including inventory management systems (IMS), warehouse management system (WMS), ERP systems like AS400 or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS), freight logistics, shipping & receiving procedures, and 3PL (third-party logistics) partnerships.
- Familiarity with procurement processes such as sourcing, purchasing, vendor management, and trade compliance for international trade regulations.
- Hands-on experience practicing in a supply chain operations role involving inventory control, demand planning, production planning, and materials handling.
- Ability to utilize tools like Microsoft Office suite for reporting and analysis; familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or equivalent is preferred.
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills to coordinate between logistics management, customer service teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Certification or experience with forklift operation is a plus; understanding of manual handling safety procedures is essential.
