Role Description The Student Brand Ambassador is a part-time hybrid position based in New York, NY, with some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include promoting Zurp's portable charging stations on and around campus, visiting partnered venues, and sharing product information with potential users and venue staff. The Brand Ambassador will organize and deliver informal presentations, distribute marketing materials, and support local campaigns to increase awareness and usage of Zurp stations. This role also involves networking with student groups and nightlife communities, collecting feedback on user experience, and providing regular updates to the Zurp team on outreach efforts and opportunities for growth.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal Communication skills, including the ability to engage diverse audiences and communicate clearly in person and online.
- Comfort with delivering Presentations and speaking to small groups about Zurp's services and value proposition.
- Interest or experience in Marketing, including campus outreach, social media promotion, and basic brand representation.
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate through Networking within student organizations, nightlife communities, and local businesses.
- Foundational Sales skills, such as explaining benefits, addressing questions, and encouraging venue adoption and product usage.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and able to manage a flexible part-time schedule while balancing academic commitments.
- Currently enrolled as a student in the New York City area or with strong ties to local campus communities.
- Comfort using mobile apps and basic digital tools; prior experience in hospitality, events, or student leadership is a plus.
