Zurn Elkay is seeking a Senior Power Platform & AI Solution Architect to serve as our Microsoft AI agent expert, with deep, hands-on capability across Power Platform, Copilot Studio, and Microsoft Foundry (formerly Azure AI Foundry). This is not a traditional Power Platform architect role, and it is not a governance-only function: you'll work directly with business teams, observe real-world processes, and build practical agent solutions in real time, while also setting the architecture patterns, standards, and technical direction that our internal team and India Center of Excellence (CoE) deliver against. Business interaction and delivery carry the same weight in this role as standards and technical direction.

Key Focus Areas Include

• Establishing architecture standards, design patterns, and platform guardrails across Power Platform and AI solutions
• Designing and building AI agents, business applications, and automation solutions directly with business stakeholders
• Serving as technical design authority for the India Center of Excellence
• Owning Dataverse solution architecture supporting Dynamics CRM and D365 F&O
  
  
  

This Role Does Not

• Own Power Platform administration, licensing, or citizen-developer support
• Own Power BI reporting or Snowflake-based analytics; that stays with the BI team
• Own the broader Microsoft Foundry platform architecture, though it actively contributes to and builds on those capabilities
• Function solely as oversight or governance; hands-on solution design and delivery are core to the role
• This is primarily a U.S. business-facing role; India CoE technical direction is part of the scope but not the main focus
  
  
  

Responsibilities

Business Engagement & Solution Delivery

• Partner directly with business stakeholders, observing real-world processes and rapidly building, piloting, and iterating agent solutions in real time
• Facilitate discovery sessions and solution workshops that translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
  
  
  

Architecture & Technical Leadership

• Set architectural patterns, standards, and technical direction for Power Platform and Copilot Studio solutions across the organization
• Design and build reference implementations, reusable components, and solution frameworks for enterprise adoption
• Establish and enforce ALM practices for solution deployment across dev/test/prod environments
  
  
  

Agentic AI & Integration Architecture

• Design grounding and integration architecture for AI-driven agents, including RAG, MCP (Model Context Protocol), A2A (Agent2Agent protocol), knowledge sources, enterprise search, custom connectors, and REST/API integrations
  
  
  

Delivery Leadership

• Provide technical direction to the India Center of Excellence: design and code review, work intake, quality standards, and overlap-hours collaboration
• Document architecture decisions and provide technical mentorship across the internal team and India CoE
  
  
  

Dataverse & Platform Architecture

• Own Dataverse solution architecture supporting Dynamics CRM and D365 F&O, including data modeling, security roles, and environment strategy
  
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 8 years of overall IT/software experience, including 5 years architecting solutions on Microsoft Power Platform
• 2-3 years of GenAI/agent development experience, with recent hands-on exposure to Copilot Studio, Microsoft Foundry, RAG, MCP, and A2A patterns
• Demonstrated architecture ownership: has set patterns, standards, and technical direction for a platform, not only delivered against another party's design
• Deep, hands-on coding ability: Power Fx, custom connectors, plug-ins, and scripting (PowerShell, Python, or similar)
• Experience designing grounding and integration architecture: knowledge sources, enterprise search, custom connectors, and REST/API integration
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Dynamics 365 ecosystem integration
• Experience directing distributed or offshore delivery teams, including design review, work intake, and quality standards
• Strong business acumen and communication skills; comfortable working directly with business stakeholders to solve problems in real tient-driven architectures
• Exposure to machine learning concepts and solutions
• Exposure to lakehouse or big data orchestration platforms
• Microsoft Certified: AI Agent Builder Associate (Exam AB-620) or Microsoft Certified: Agentic AI Business Solutions Architect
• Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Apps and Agents Developer Associate (AI-103)
• Microsoft Power Platform certifications (PL-100, PL-200, PL-400, PL-600)
• Exposure to enterprise AI governance and agent inventory/compliance tooling
