  • Maintain discipline around timely and complete closure of corrective actions

Investigation and Root Cause

  • Use data to distinguish true root cause from symptoms
  • Ensure problem statements and root causes are accurate and supported by data

Effectiveness and Prevention

  • Validate that corrective actions are sustained and prevent recurrence
  • Establish clear criteria for verifying effectiveness
  • Drive preventive actions based on trends and repeat failure patterns

Cross-Functional Execution

  • Partner with Plant Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, and Operations teams
  • Support alignment across Freeport and Lanark facilities
  • Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders

Data and Trend Analysis

  • Highlight repeat issues and systemic risks
  • Support reporting and visibility into quality performance and trends

Continuous Improvement

  • Apply structured problem solving and Lean principles to reduce defects and variation
  • Feed lessons learned into PFMEA, APQP, and manufacturing controls
  • Support updates to standard work and quality processes based on findings

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field
  • 3 to 7 years of experience in quality, manufacturing, or reliability engineering
  • Experience owning corrective actions from open to verified closure
  • Hands-on experience with 8D or structured root cause problem solving
